Epoch Talks | Limited Editions: A Guide to Effectiveness

Jordan Cox , Senior Copywriter August 24, 2026

On 19 August, we hosted the third webinar in our Epoch Talks series. This time, our Creative Director, Vix Hansard, and Senior Strategist, Jemma Adams, explored all things limited edition.

We love a limited edition at Epoch. We’ve worked on several, from our award-winning 1664 x Walala collaboration to our Kate Moss collection for Diet Coke. Limited edition projects can buildbondswith people in so many ways.

As Vix and Jemma discussed, limited editions createa sense of scarcity, urgency and perceived value. They make would-be buyers feel special, in-the-know, part of an exclusive group. They elevate purchases into memorable experiences throughculturally relevantthemes, stories, or collabs, creating amemory-bond between the brand and something more personal – a bond that may lastway long after the limited edition itself is gone.

The main takeaway? Great limited editions live in the sweet spot between familiarity and surprise: recognisably on-brand, but impossible to ignore. They givepeople a reason to stop, look twice, and feel something.

A big thank you to everyone who attended the webinar. There were some great questions and it was a hugely valuable session. We love sharing our experience and expertise here at Epoch, so if you couldn’t make this one, hopefully we’ll see you at the next Epoch Talks webinar.

And, as promised, the full report and a recording of the session are now available below, so please download them and feel free to share with your colleagues, clients and future prospects.
